End of Season Family Fun Day
We’d like to thank everyone that came along to our end of season family fun day on 1st June. A lot of planning goes into that day, and everyone enjoys showcasing how our kids in every age group have developed over the year. It was great to see so many of you and your families and friends there cheering on the kids and enjoying yourselves.
The highlight of the day, and our most well attended match on the schedule, was the Parents vs Coaches game. Despite luring Steve Galloway out of retirement to manage the Coaches team, the Parents team, managed by our own Bharat Patel, were just too strong and won the game 4-1 in the end.
This was our first ever match like this and was a roaring success (the Parents team could’ve had a squad of around 40 in the end to choose from!) so we will make this an annual event going forward. The Coaches are already training ahead of next year and determined to even the score, watch out Parents!
